Advanced genetic test designed to estimate the probability of sperm retrieval in patients with non-obstructive azoospermia (NOA), by providing a prognostic evaluation of TESE/micro-TESE outcomes. The test analyzes more than 200 genes involved in spermatogenesis, searching for mutations associated with failed sperm retrieval (negative TESE) or residual sperm production with the potential for retrieval (positive TESE).

POSSIBLE TEST RESULTS
Positive – Pathogenic Variant Detected
Identification of one or more variants with known pathogenic significance consistent with the patient’s infertility condition.
Negative – No Pathogenic Variant Detected
No pathogenic variants are detected in the genes analyzed.
This result does not exclude the presence of mutations in genomic regions not investigated by the test.
